The track has become the most streamed track at that time within 6 months. In 2015 there were two mostly Spanish-language songs on Billboard's Top 100 and in 2016 there were four. The popularity of Despacito was at its highest in 2017. In 2020, 41 mostly Spanish songs will make the Top 100. Justin Bieber remixed Despacito 2017 as a bilingual rendition.
